Gospel of Muninn

7

1: There was a hound that came to Jesus, a stray
2: in the garden of Gethsemane on that fateful day.
3: Philip stood to kick it, when Jesus said,
4: "The hound is my Memory, his name is Muninn.
5: I tell you the truth when I say, that
6: his love for me is more real
7: than anything of this world.
8: Only those who can understand this mystery
9: will be permitted into the Kingdom of Heaven.
10: The disciples wept then,
11: because they had received the testimony
12: of the son of God, and they were unable
13: to know the mystery of memory.
14: Jesus laughed, and said, “Truly I
15: say to you, that I have died a thousand
16: deaths before, and I shall live still when
17: the flesh and bones that gird your body
18: crumble into ash and dust.
19: For the true resurrection is not bodily,
20: but lies in the memories of our lives
21: and how we lived them. So live,
22: and don’t forget the details of this day,
23: when you get around to writing it all down.”
